Created by the Chiba City-born Tokyo-based designer Tadao Shimizu for the Japanese manufacturer Abovo, the lamp features a three-dimensional washi-paper cloud shade which is supported by rows of thin metal rods resembling falling rain. The light, which is also available in a ‘Gold Rain’ version, is part of the ‘Cloud’ series which also includes a number of pendant and floor lamps. Via Daily Tonic.
