Laser cutting and etching


Tray Servagon designed by Christopher Coombes for Industrial. A tray, raised by vertical ribs, offers its contents to a guest. This surface is perforated letting the light into the closed and open volumes. Ginkgo: The geometric pattern now has ginkgo leaves to play with, which are laser etched into the surface. Rock: The surface mixes signs and technologies from different era's with laser technology cutting and etching figures carved into rocks during prehistoric and historic periods. Flora: The surface is treated as a traditional wood carving with highly detailed plants laser etched into the surface.
