Re-use

Matthijs Vogels was frustrated by the amount of food people throw away after meals. So, for part of his masters thesis at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, the 27-year-old designer put his frustrations to work: he created a series of bowls and plates called Waste-Ware that were hand-pressed out of left-over coffee grounds and herbs. Each biodegradable set doubles as a container; the coffee version is perfect for storing chocolates. Available at Studio hergebruik.
