Our second stay is chambres d'hôtes Le Crot Foulot run by Jan and Annie, based in Jugy (Saône et Loire) southern Burgundy. In their lovingly restored winemaker’s domain. The five large rooms are airy and welcoming and benefit from exposed beams and private facilities, remaining true to the original style but with all the advantages of modern comfort and design. Jan and Annie held a top rated fish restaurant in Brussels for over 15 years and decided to enjoy the peace of the French country side. Every evening, Jan prepares a delicious set menu. We like the excellent gastronomic cooking of Jan, the refined design of the house we enjoy the communal dining. We highly recommend this chambres d'Hôtes and hope visting it again in the future.
