Grand Trianon lamp by Paula Arntzen

Named after the palace of King Louis XIV the Grand Trianon lamp by Paula Arntzen is a large, lightweight chandelier made of post-consumer coated Tyvek. When lit up, the Grand Trianon emits a soft checkerboard glow from behind its surface of folded slits. The impressive size and surface texture are a modern reference to the opulent decor found in France’s Palace of Versailles. “Everything about the art and architecture of the Versailles is made with the greatest intensity. That inspired me to start this collection of lamps.”
