NEW: Risotto Serving Spoon by Inga Sempé for Alessi

New, Risotto Serving Spoon in 18/10 stainless steel mirror polished designed by Inga Sempé for Alessi. This Risotto serving spoon was designed for a competition organised with the magazine “Domus” to celebrate the anniversary of the “Cucchiaio d’Argento” (“Silver Spoon”) - the historic recipe book which, with its 3 million copies sold in Italy and world-wide, and its 12,000 recipes, has been the star of Italian kitchen for the past 50 years. This Risotto Serving Spoon was the winning project of the competition. The jury, which included Alberto Alessi and Alessandro Mendini, chose to reward Inga Sempé for her ability to create a very simple and minimalist solution which, at the same time, is also highly expressive thanks to the precise details and the functional need to serve risotto. Inga Sempé wanted a spoon that was slender and round, as simple and as pleasant as eating a risotto. Photos by On Time.

I wonder that what is this spoon made for. 201 stainless steel or 304 stainless steel exactly.

Hi Tạp Chí Xây Dựng,

Thank you for your interest in the Risotto serving spoon! The only thing I know is that the spoon is made of 18/10 stainless steel. I'm not familiar with the steel term you mention.

Kind regards,
